Assoc. Prof. Ir Dr Mohd Amin bin Abd Majid
CHAIRMAN
Certified engineer and a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering department at Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) since the year 2000. Started his career as Senior Researcher in 1976 at SIRIM before joining a construction company as a Senior General Manager in 1993. His expertise in engineering was further acknowledged and expanded when he was appointed as Technical Consultant at Perusahaan Otomobil Electric Malaysia (POEM) in 1998. Later, in the same year, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) promoted him as the Managing Director of TNB Workshop Services Sdn Bhd. His involvement throughout various research and consultancy engineering projects had proven his never ending passion in education and engineering.
His qualifications include, but not limited to, B.Eng (Hons) (Mechanical), Institut Teknologi Bandung . Master of Engineering (Industrial Engineering & Management), Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok and PhD (Mechanical Engineering), Universiti Malaya (UM).
Maridah binti Mohd Amin (Cikgu Mar)
PRINCIPAL
Obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Biomedical Technology (2002) and Master of Technology in Environmental Management from UM (2015). Former Phd student (2015-2018) majoring in Green Engineering at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Career revolves in medical and engineering research in various corporate and education companies. Some of the companies she served were Johnson and Johnson, Sime Darby Healthcare, Segi University College, International Medical University (IMU), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Started teaching as part-time tutor at Subang Jaya, Shah Alam in 2008. She was a permanent Chemistry prep teacher at Sekolah Menengah Teknik Gombak in 2009.
Husniyati binti Mohd Amin
ACCOUNTANT
Obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy from UM and Master of Science (Accounting) from, International Islamic University (UIA). With more than 14 years of experience as an accountant and Finance Manager in Hicom Teck See Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd, she is responsible for the company’s account.
Dr. Sharidah binti Mohd Amin
ADVISOR
A member of the Board of Engineers and researcher at Petronas Research Sdn Bhd. Her qualifications include Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental), UM and PhD from Imperial College London, United Kingdom. She is responsible in giving advice to the English, Science and Technology workshop and any other programmes organised by the centre during school holidays.
Faisal bin Mohd Amin
DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
Phd student majoring in Information Technology (IT) at UKM. His qualifications include Master in Information Technology System from UKM and Bachelor of Science majoring in networking system from University of Sunderland, United Kingdom. He is responsible in showcasing expertise in digital technology.
Muhd Azri Fahmi bin Hazari
SUPERVISOR
An engineer with Master in Manufacturing System from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Bachelor of Engineering (Manufacturing Industry) from Universiti Malaya (UM). His role is to supervise the management of the centre.
Noreena Abd Karim
PhD student in Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) majoring in Social Science and Humanities. Obtained her Master and Bachelor degree in Mass Communication from Universiti Teknologi Mara. Her role includes teaching English and marketing.
